Professional Claim Navigation

You don't have to know
what you need.
That's our job.

Tell us what is happening with your claim. We review it, and we tell you what the right next step actually is. Sometimes that is one of our services. Sometimes it is not.

Not sure what kind of help you actually need?

Most homeowners aren't.

That is why we do not ask you to choose.

Every other firm hands you a menu and asks you to diagnose yourself. But you are the one person in this situation who cannot reasonably be expected to know what you need. That is the whole reason you are here.

So we do it the other way around. Tell us what is happening. We review your information, and we recommend the next step that makes the most sense for your situation.

If we think you are better served by an attorney, a public adjuster, an engineer, or another professional, we will tell you that too. Our goal is not to sell you something you do not need. Our goal is to help you make the right next decision.

Sometimes the honest answer is that your claim has been handled fairly and there is nothing to pursue. We will say that plainly, and it will not cost you anything.

How It Works

We recommend. You decide.

1

You tell us what is happening

What kind of loss, where you are in the process, and what is worrying you most. Attach your estimate and your policy if you have them. Five minutes, and nothing to pay.

2

A licensed adjuster reads it

Not a form response and not an algorithm. Someone who has written thousands of these estimates reads yours, and looks at your documents properly.

3

We send you our recommendation

Within 24 hours, in writing. What we saw, what we think the right next step is, and why. Including when that step has nothing to do with us.

4

You decide

No pressure and no sales call. You read it and you choose. If you go ahead, the link is there. If you do not, that is a completely fine outcome.

What our recommendation looks like

We have completed an initial review of the information you submitted.

Based on what we have seen, we believe your best next step is:

An Independent Claim Strategy Session
Here is why.
Not because we think your estimate is wrong. Because you have several decisions coming up that could significantly affect your claim, and once they are made they are difficult to undo. The Strategy Session is designed to help you understand those decisions before you make them.

If you would like to move forward, the link is below. If you would rather sit with it, that is fine too. Nothing here expires.

What we might recommend

These are the options. Not a menu.

You do not need to pick one of these. We will tell you which fits, after we have read your file. Including the ones we do not provide.

What we can do for you

Claim File Review

We read your estimate and your policy and send back a written summary. What appears to be missing, what looks underpriced, and what we would do next.

When you need a second opinion in writing

Claim Strategy Session

A 60 minute call, after we have read your full file. We walk through what we see, where you stand, and the decisions ahead of you before you make them.

When decisions are coming and you need to understand them

Professional Estimate Review

A complete line by line audit of your insurance estimate. Every quantity checked, every price compared, every missing item identified. You receive a supplement letter ready to send.

When the numbers do not add up

Appraisal Representation

Appraisal is a formal process written into most policies for settling a disagreement about the amount of a loss. We serve as your appraiser, through to resolution.

When negotiation has genuinely run out
What we might tell you to do instead

See an attorney

If your claim involves a denial on coverage grounds, bad faith, or a deadline that is about to pass, you need a lawyer, not a consultant. We will say so.

Coverage disputes, denials, deadlines

Hire a public adjuster

On a very large or total loss, someone managing the entire claim on a percentage may genuinely serve you better than we would. We will tell you when.

Large losses, total losses

Get an engineer or specialist

When the dispute is about causation rather than cost, what you need is a report from an expert in that specific field.

Disputes about what caused the damage

Nothing at all

Sometimes a claim has been handled fairly. Sometimes the gap is too small to justify the cost of chasing it. We will say that, and it costs you nothing.

More often than you would expect

We do not earn a referral fee from any attorney, public adjuster, contractor, or engineer. When we send you somewhere else, we make nothing. That is exactly why you can trust it.

Why Us

What we are, and what we are not

We charge a flat fee, not a percentage

A public adjuster typically earns 10 to 15 percent of your settlement. On a $100,000 claim that is $10,000 to $15,000. We charge a flat fee whatever the outcome, so we have no reason to talk up what you might recover.

We will tell you when there is nothing to pursue

The honest answer is what you are paying for, even when it is not the one you hoped for. A firm that never tells anyone no is not being honest with anyone.

We take no referral fees

Not from contractors, not from public adjusters, not from attorneys. When we point you somewhere else, we earn nothing from it. Our only relationship is with you.

We know how estimates are built

We know how a scope of work is written, how line items are priced, and which items are most often left out. That experience is now working on your side of the table.

Before you hire anyone

You may not need us at all

Many homeowners can handle their own claim once someone explains how the process actually works. That is what ClaimCompass is for. There are two free guides to start with, and paid guides if you want to go further. Start there. If it turns out you need us, we will still be here.
